Welcome to WideCast
WideCast is an AI system that builds videos, blog posts, and social media posts from a single idea, then publishes them for you. This page is a tour of what you see the moment you sign in: the home screen, its three action cards, your video list, and where to find help.
What WideCast does
Give WideCast a topic, a script, or a piece of footage. It researches the subject, writes the script, and builds the video for you, complete with narration, visuals, and captions. From that same idea it can also write a matching blog post and social media captions with an image, so one piece of content becomes several. When you are ready, WideCast publishes to 11 platforms: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky, and Google Business.
The home screen
Sign in at widecast.ai by clicking Sign In in the top corner. The home screen centers on three cards:
- Production Plan: your saved topics and drafts, so any idea you collect or start is waiting for you later.
- Setup AI Agent: personalize WideCast's automation. This opens the Setup Center.
- Creator Tools: choose a source and create your next video. See Create your first video for the full walkthrough.
Below the cards, Recent lists the videos you have already started, newest first. Each entry shows its title and current status, so you can jump back into anything still generating, ready to edit, or ready to record.
Opening a shared script
If someone shares a script with you, look for Open video script by code near your video list. Click it to open the Open Video Script window, paste the code they sent you (it looks like widecastXXXXXXXX), and press Go. WideCast opens that script for you, the same as if it were already in your own list.
The profile menu
Click Account in the top corner to open the profile menu:
- Profile: your account details.
- Connected Accounts: the social accounts WideCast can publish to.
- Statistics: your social performance dashboard.
- Publish Schedule: what is scheduled to go out and when.
- Subscription & Credits: your plan and credit balance. See Credits, plans, and billing.
- Users and Team: who else has access to your account.
- Send Newsletter: send an update to your audience.
- Live Support: talk to the WideCast support team.
- Sign out.

What is WideCast?
WideCast is an AI system that turns one idea into a finished video, a matching blog post, and a set of social media posts, then can publish all of it for you. You give it a topic, a script, or footage to start from, WideCast researches, writes, and builds the content, and you review everything before it goes out.
Does WideCast only create videos?
No. From the same idea, WideCast can also write a blog post and social media captions to match, each with its own image. You end up with a video, a blog post, and social posts ready to publish from one piece of content.
What platforms can WideCast publish to?
WideCast can publish to 11 platforms: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky, and Google Business. Connect the accounts you want under "Connected Accounts" in the profile menu, then publish right away or schedule it for later with "Publish Schedule".
How do I sign in to WideCast?
Go to widecast.ai and click "Sign In" in the top corner. Once you are signed in, the home screen becomes your starting point: your saved drafts, your finished videos, and every setting live there.
Where are my videos in WideCast?
They are on the home screen under "Recent", listed newest first. Each entry shows its title and a status such as still generating, ready to edit, or ready to record, so you always know what needs your attention next.
What is the "Production Plan" card for?
"Production Plan" is your saved backlog of ideas, topics, and drafts. Click it whenever you want to pick up something you started earlier or collected for later, instead of starting from a blank page every time.
What is the "Setup AI Agent" card for?
"Setup AI Agent" opens the Setup Center, where you personalize how WideCast's automation works for your business. Most people visit it once when they start, then come back occasionally to adjust settings.
What is the "Creator Tools" card for?
"Creator Tools" is where you start a new video. Click it to choose a source, such as an idea, a script, a blog post, or existing footage, and WideCast builds the video from there.
Someone sent me a script code. How do I open it in WideCast?
On the home screen, click "Open video script by code" near your video list. In the "Open Video Script" window, paste the code they sent you (it looks like widecastXXXXXXXX) and press "Go". WideCast opens that script for you just like one of your own.
What is in the "Account" menu?
Click "Account" in the top corner to open your profile menu. It has Profile, Connected Accounts, Statistics, Publish Schedule, Subscription & Credits, Users, Team, Send Newsletter, Live Support, and Sign out, everything you need to manage your account without leaving the home screen.
Where do I get help or support in WideCast?
Click "Account" in the top corner, then choose "Live Support". It opens a live chat so you can talk directly to the WideCast support team without leaving WideCast.
